| SCANNING
We offer a scanning service for individual scans and as various scanning packages. The package deals are scanned as High Resolution at approximately 40Mb - suitable for a 16x12 photographic print, Medium Resolution - 18Mb for a print of 12x10, or Low Resolution at about 4Mb for a print of 6x4. Process & Scan includes the processing of roll films (35mm & 120, negative or transparency) and RGB scans from each frame at your chosen resolution, supplied on a CD. The scans are colour corrected but not spotted and you must order the scans at the time of processing. Rollfilm Scan Packages are for scanning previously processed whole rolls. Again supplied on a CD they are colour corrected but not spotted. |

Individual Scans are from transparencies and negatives up to 5x4 or flat copy up to A3. You can choose one of the pre-set resolutions mentioned above or have bigger scans if required. You can also request specific size/resolution parameters on this service. Scans are colour corrected and spotted for dust only. Retouching of blemishes on the original can be undertaken at an extra charge. And of course you can buy the scans of any prints you have printed at PCL. |
